Closed beta and pricing
Who can use the streamer dashboard during the closed beta, what stays free, and what NextQuest+ is planned to add.
NextQuest is in closed beta. Anyone can use the viewer side. Only a small group of invited streamers can manage boards. This page explains who can do what now, and what the pricing page says about later.
Who can use the dashboard now
During the closed beta:
- Anyone can sign in with Twitch, vote on games and suggest games. See Sign in with Twitch.
- Only hand-picked streamers can open the dashboard and manage a board.
- Add to my board on game pages and in search is also limited to those streamers. Others see it disabled, marked "Closed beta only".
If you are not on the list and open any dashboard page, NextQuest sends you to the Closed beta page instead. That page shows live boards you can try as a viewer and a Get on the list form. Enter your email and select Notify me to hear when board management opens to everyone.
Note
Signing in creates your starter board even if you are not invited, but you cannot open the dashboard to use it. When the beta ends, board management opens to everyone.
Invitations are tied to your Twitch channel. To ask a question about the beta, email hello@nextquest.app.
What is free
The Pricing page says NextQuest itself is free, during the beta and after it, and that nothing in the free plan moves behind a paywall. The free plan includes:
- One active public board
- Unlimited suggestions and votes
- Viewer permissions and audience controls
- A public link to share

What NextQuest+ is
NextQuest+ is an optional paid plan. The Pricing page lists three extras, labelled After beta:

These are regular prices. The page says streamers who log in during the beta get a launch discount when NextQuest+ goes on sale.
Important
NextQuest+ is not on sale yet. Billing is not built, so there is nothing to buy today, and the extras above are not available. Today's dashboard works as described in the other streamer pages. The Pricing page has the current plans, and they can change before launch.
You do not need NextQuest+ to run a board.
